  • Afro-American Cultural Center 211 Park Street New Haven, CT, 06511 United States (map)

On Wednesday, March 28th from 6:30-8:00pm at the Afro-American Cultural Center at Yale, the U.S. Health Justice Collaborative will host a panel event titled "Paved with Good Intentions: White Saviorism and the Non-Profit Industrial Complex." This event aims to explore themes of power, privilege, and financial incentive within the non-profit industry that inhibit the achievement of equity and structural reform in the United States. Panelists will speak to their efforts confronting these challenges in our community. In addition to raising awareness about these critical issues, the event aims to highlight strategies for dismantling white saviorism and supremacy in our work moving forward.
