Art Meets Biology: The Beauty of Scientific Exploration
The concept of art imitating life was on full display on April 12, as students and community members gathered at the Center for Collaborative Arts and Media for the “Art Meets Biology: Interactive Design Workshop, Microscope Images Plus Adobe.”
hey were there to design works of art based on microscopic images captured by Yale researchers. Participants entered their work in a competition judged by a panel of designers and scientists, with the winner having their design emblazoned on a tote bag. A collaboration between Tsai CITY and CCAM and run by Alyssa Siefert, Ph.D.,“Art Meets Biology” explored the beauty of scientific exploration.
